Net-A-Porter Sale Continues,After a busy weekend with the family, I am somewhat back into the swing of things now. I find myself constantly checking back to find what bag I must have that is so reasonable now that it is finally on sale. My behind is sore from kicking it over missing two of my favorite clutches, so now I am going to try to re-justify all of this by making a larger purchase. Two designer handbags that have my eye today are the Miu Miu Nappa Leather Bag and the Fendi Patent Leather B Bag. Surprisingly, the Miu Miu bag caught my fancy at Saks the other day. It is light and fluffy so to speak and the optional across body strap is perfect for everyday use. It is a thin strap, so don’t carry everything but the kitchen sink in the bag and expect the strap to hold. But I really was delighted with the way the bag fit. As far as the Fendi Patent Leather B Bag goes I am a huge fan of this bag and the pink patent leather has my girly side head-over-heels in love

Woven Leather Hobo Miu Miu

Miu Miu Woven Leather Hobo,I have a strong feeling that I am going to nab some heat for liking this bag. But you know what, I just can not help it, I love this bag! I popped into Saks a few days ago and an array of new Miu Miu bags were on display. I glanced over many of them, stopping at this interesting number. The Miu Miu Woven Leather Hobo is reminiscent of its love-or-hate sister the Prada Fringe Bag. The Prada Fringe Bag was in the spotlight as an eyesore to many, but it had this odd little quality that grew on me. And now this Miu Miu bag has me looking and liking too. The brown woven leather is actually quite soft to the touch, guaranteed to become more supple with age. I know, I know, Bottega Veneta is the woven leather genius, but this is not too shabby. And the fringe is only trimmed along the bag. I tried it on and it had a hippie-chic appeal with a touch of Western. There is a handle across the top and the option of a detachable shoulder strap. For all of you who hate it, join Vlad in the dislike of this bag. I may be a lone ranger, but I am enjoying myself while enjoying this bag.

Geri Halliwell Style: Miu Miu Nappa Frame Tote,Earlier today I asked for a little help identifying the handbag Gerri Halliwell was seen sporting. It took you all no time to figure it out, pointing me in the direction of Miu Miu! A special thanks to Kath for being the first to send us the link. The bag of choice of Ginger Spice was the Miu Miu Nappa Frame Tote which features a frame top with golden hardware and black Nappa leather. This is a very clean and sophisticated look from Miu Miu, which is easy to see why Geri paired it with her refined white coat. This handbag can polish off an outfit easily. There is a detachable crossbody strap, but wearing this as a messenger bag will take away the elegant touch. Dimensions are 13″W X 12″H X 5″D.

Miu Miu Framed Fold Over Clutch, Upon first glance this bag looks awkward. It is a different look with a different appeal. When this Miu Miu bag first popped up on Net A Porter I was confused by both the purse and my feelings towards the purse. But then it sold out (in a teal hue) before I had time to really sit and think it over. Now the Miu Miu Framed Fold Over Clutch is back in a peonia soft nappa leather with a gold tone frame. While you hold this clutch by the leather top, you must place it with the gold clasp facing up to open it. The color is perfect for what this season craves; bold colors and accessories. Yet the set up of the clutch is different from the norm and I am not sure I can love it fully. It almost looks as a clam on its side, asking for you to open it up. And when you do, the bag expands like a bag of tricks. Either way I can not deem this drab, because a part of me likes it. It is just that the other part of me is confused by it.
