While I love Prada, I love her younger sister Miu Miu even more right now! Miu Miu delivers the same punch as Prada, the same looks (many times better) for half the price. You can’t get much better than that! A tote bag is a bag everyone needs. We all need to lug around our daily essentials. And to pull it off with a great looking bag is even better. How perfectly fitting then is the Miu Miu Nappa Delave Tote?! I saw this bag while in Saks yesterday and the SA and I were both oohing and aahing at the luscious leather. The topstitching detail adds a nice touch and the gold hardware is subdued and perfect. The design of the bag is simple but it adds some great touches with the leather outlining. The leather feels buttery soft and sports the same look as many of the new resort Prada bags. But the price is, of course, much less that its Prada sisters. Dimensions are 14″W X 13¾”H X 5½”D. The price is very reasonable for what you get;

Miu Miu Stamped Clutch,Last week I included you on my hunt for a great purple clutch. The hunt is still on as I desperately try to find a great fun purple clutch. No need for a crazy expensive clutch, something fun to take out and play with. Miu Miu handbags have been on a roll for me, churning out cute and affordable bags season after season. They are not all home runs, but some definitely are rounding the bases.

And with my purple clutch obsession, I ran into the Miu Miu Stamped Clutch in purple stamped patent leather with gold hardware. And while this is an overly simple clutch, I do wonder what the croc stamping looks like in person. I am all for bag deals, but if this bag looks cheap in person I will not splurge, even with such a price friendly tag. The thing is, croc stamping can look overly forced, making a bag ultimately look cheap. If I saw this bag in person and liked it, it would be a purple clutch contender. The major perk is the patent leather can be cleaned up easily

Balenciaga: Hardware Choices

I believe I have outwardly voiced my love of the giant hardware Balenciaga bags previously, the silver hardware to be exact. It is not that I do not love gold, in fact I have found a new love of gold jewelry. But when it came to BBags, I thought silver hardware was the perfect color. Now I am questioning myself. After seeing some of the new combinations of giant gold hardware on some Balenciaga bags I am torn. The gold hardware has grown on me and I find myself leaning towards it more and more. Vlad and I will be in NYC next week and I may end up at the Balenciaga store, ready to make my first BBag purchase. It has been a long time in the making and I am ready to take a morning off of meetings to do some shopping. Do I go for classic hardware or take the plunge into giant hardware? Help me make my decision – and give me reasons why!
