Should I Go To Chanel Store To Ask For My Bag Authenticity?

I just bought a bag online from Ebay it came with a card and a handbook I’m not sure whether it is authentic or not. Should I go to Chanel store and ask for its authenticity? what will be their response toward it? will they confiscate the bag I purchased online if they find it fake? I need some info about this…..Thank you!
