Happy smile, toasty little feet, THE colours we want: fashion and quality from Uggs, as usual ,its worth paying for the real thing my daughter was delighted with her uggs and she loves the fact she can wear them three different ways

I ordered these late on the Friday night and they arrived on the Tuesday. My little girl loves them and they look fantastic. Had cheaper ones in the past and they only last a couple of weeks these are great quality.

I must say. Christian Louboutin has created the most famous footwear has been since the Cinderella myth. Stars such as the Kate Moss and Daphne Guinness supermodel Beyoncé, Gwyneth Paltrow and Madonna, everyone wearing his shoes. Earlier this year, New York Fashion Institute of Technology specially made for him a personal exhibition, in January, talk show queen Oprah Winfrey dedicated her show years to eight million viewers on his design. However, the designers themselves are often wearing a pair of Christian Louboutin NIB Pumps, in the shoulder hung a travel package. His olive skin, pepper, body-color with short hair and this casual dress made him like an ordinary general, and does not eye-catching. He also hoped that his shoes – and not his own – speak in his behalfChristian Louboutin Black Sandals.

  • Or not. My next bag?

Posted on April 9th, 2010 guol 1 comment

012605coinThere’s a number of other cute bags at Anthroplogie but my local store doesn’t have them and I’m afraid to order with out seeing the bag in person.

    Moving on…

Well my local Anthroplogie didn’t have the green version, just the red. When I first saw it i was disappointed. The red leather looked too fake and shiny. Plus the leather under the large coinpurse was crackling and buckling. Not a good sign. So I left the store without a new bag.

I spotted this green coin purse bag on the Anthropologie site and was instantly smitten. The bag looked big and sturdy and the coin purses made it unique. I was planning on getting a new bag for the spring and this looked like The One. Of course I ran down to the local store to see the bag in person.

  • Things Besides Bags Other

We should be returning to our regularly scheduled bag related posts as soon as I can finish up some draft entries.

In the meantime check out this great bag sites:

    Purseuing

Sorry for the lack of bag posts, as I’ve actually been thinking about other things besides bags (!), specifically my recent trip home to Boston to watch my mom make my wedding dress and generally trying not to stress over the wedding plans (how could my regular hairdresser be CLOSED the day of my wedding? And why did I think it was a good idea to go with “do it yourself” invitations?)

However for those of you selling bags and wanting to get the word out–never fear! I’ve set up a special place for you to post information about your cool bag. The place is the guestbook here or you can reach it by the “Bags for sale” link over to the left.

Others are clearly marketing pitches in the comments section, sometimes disguised to look like a regular comment. In the early days of TBB I automatically approved those types of comments because I thought it would be interesting info for readers. But now I’ve decided to keep the comments section clear of pitches, and instead let it be just people like me discussing bags they like and don’t like.

I’ve started to get a lot of emails and comments from people that are selling a bag. Some of these are quite obvious, like a press release or marketing pitch. Those I welcome since I’m always on the lookout for new bags.

  • Filene’s Basement in Boston Retail Report

Posted on April 7th, 2010 guol No comments

The Basement also had a good selection of those cute Coach canvas totes in blue and red. The small totes was $49.99 up to $119.00 for the largest tote. I also considered buying the large tote as a commuting bag, but decided I should wait until I get a job to buy a commuting bag

Back in January I admired the Cole Haan Trinity Python Satchel in black. Today I spotted the same bag but in white in the bargain bins at Filene’s Basement in Downtown Crossing. I certainly contemplated buying it, especially since it was 25% off, but I never liked the white version as much as the black. But if you were partial to white and near the Boston area, you could pick this up yourself for a steal.

  • Bean Bags LL

100505_llMy only complaint is that the handles look very short and I couldn’t sling the bag over my shoulder.

I’ve found myself quite facinated with the Hunter’s Tote Bag, Zip-Top in camouflage, of course. And if a bag can stand up to “waterfowling, dog training or shooting” it can probably handle the MBTA.

LL Bean has a good selection of totes, and you can’t beat their customer service as we all learned in Marketing 101.

Now that I have an hour long commute everyday, instead of my previous commute from the bathroom to the dining room table, I’ve been keeping an eye out for some good sensible commuting bags.

Fashion Binge: I was drawn in by the review of Fall bags, but I was hooked when I read about Shopgirl and ran right out and got a copy of the movie which I have since fallen in love with and watched four times in one weekend and just finished the book. Sigh.
What are your favorite bag/fashion blogs? Bonus points for NYC-area blogs. Leave a note in the comments.

Beantown Fashion: Even though I left Boston for the brighter lights of NYC, I still like to stay updated on what is going on in my former home. This including reading Boston.com to stay updated on the news (Go Deval!) and Beantown Fashion to stay updated on what fashionable Bostonians are wearing

Fashion is Spinach: It is not an exaggeration when I say that I love everything about this blog. Ms. Spinach has a knack for finding the cute/beautiful/unique needle in the haystack of junk on the internet. Here are some wonderful examples: beautiful photos of a San Francisco apartment, Old navy long hoodies that I am now obsessed with and spent a good two hours on the phone the other day calling every Old Navy in the NYC area until I found one in New Jersey that would ship me the brown version in a size small, antique keys for necklaces–cool!, and elbow length mittens.

I’ve done some updating to my links page by removing some old sites and putting up my new favorites.

Here are some great new bag/fashion blogs that have caught my attention recently:
