Net-A-Porter Sale Continues,After a busy weekend with the family, I am somewhat back into the swing of things now. I find myself constantly checking back to find what bag I must have that is so reasonable now that it is finally on sale. My behind is sore from kicking it over missing two of my favorite clutches, so now I am going to try to re-justify all of this by making a larger purchase. Two designer handbags that have my eye today are the Miu Miu Nappa Leather Bag and the Fendi Patent Leather B Bag. Surprisingly, the Miu Miu bag caught my fancy at Saks the other day. It is light and fluffy so to speak and the optional across body strap is perfect for everyday use. It is a thin strap, so don’t carry everything but the kitchen sink in the bag and expect the strap to hold. But I really was delighted with the way the bag fit. As far as the Fendi Patent Leather B Bag goes I am a huge fan of this bag and the pink patent leather has my girly side head-over-heels in love

Miu Miu Bowling Bag,The shape is nothing special, but in fact, the shape of this designer handbag really pays homage to others in my opinion. Does this bag slightly resemble the Louis Vuitton Speedy to you? The Miu Miu Bowling Bag is simple enough, sporting black leather and gold hardware with double top handles. What many designers cease to remember is that a clutch is meant to be carried in your hand. Make a visual image of how large you think Miu Miu has made this clutch, and take a better look and learn more after the jump.
Shocking and overwhelming right? There is no way I could comfortably carry a foot and a half wide clutch in my hand. I may be 5′10, but my hands are delicate and small, and this would totally not work. The Miu Miu Oversized Suede Clutch sports a suede plum and red tie dye pattern with pleat detailing and has so much potential, but the size is downright obscene. Coming in at a truly oversized 18″ x 11″ x 2.5″, this clutch is as large as many handbags, but without the shoulder strap. The oversized clutch trend hopefully will not last too long, because it will be uncomfortable and hard to pull off. I dig this clutch, if it were about 1/3 the size.

Nappa Delave Tote Miu Miu

While I love Prada, I love her younger sister Miu Miu even more right now! Miu Miu delivers the same punch as Prada, the same looks (many times better) for half the price. You can’t get much better than that! A tote bag is a bag everyone needs. We all need to lug around our daily essentials. And to pull it off with a great looking bag is even better. How perfectly fitting then is the Miu Miu Nappa Delave Tote?! I saw this bag while in Saks yesterday and the SA and I were both oohing and aahing at the luscious leather. The topstitching detail adds a nice touch and the gold hardware is subdued and perfect. The design of the bag is simple but it adds some great touches with the leather outlining. The leather feels buttery soft and sports the same look as many of the new resort Prada bags. But the price is, of course, much less that its Prada sisters. Dimensions are 14″W X 13¾”H X 5½”D. The price is very reasonable for what you get;
Making the most of some serious texture, this lovely Miu Miu purse is eye-catching without a lot of fuss. The lamb leather on the Pleated Boston Bag is bunched up in the center, creating a rich gathered effect that adds personality to a sophisticated design. Gold hardware and the Miu Miu logo discreetly liven up the bag, but it’s the supple brown leather and incredible shape that really make it memorable. It features a long, detachable shoulder strap, but it’s one of those handbags that looks awesome whether it’s hand held or bouncing off a hip.

I love this bag for an everyday bag, that will have a slouchy look right around your hip. I see it as a perfect practical bag, with a leather that is light, and sparsity of hardware which makes the bag light. The price is also great for the size of the bag (19″x12.5″x5″).
