Cartier be the Most favorable Brands in China and Louis Vuitton

Louis Vuitton ruled the roost in fashion and accessories in China but lost out to Chanel in Hong Kong. Channel generally placed second in China, with Gucci and Prada level at third in Hong Kong. Prada numbers for China were not available; Cartier reigned supreme in all China cities, including Hong Kong, among respondents in the category of watch and jewelry, beating out Omega, Tiffany and Rolex.
A recent survey by Albatross Global Solutions in Shanghai, China revealed that when it comes to luxury goods, Louis Vuitton and Cartier are the Most favorable Brands among Chinese customers. “Though it is a fact that we are in the economic downturn period, it still never brought too great effects to make the luxury marketing down in China”, reported by Ruder Finn Asia, the executive director of the company, “Instead, more than half of Chinese luxury goods consumers will not let the ongoing economic crunch put a crimp in their spending habits.”
