Are My Designer Bags Real? Chanel + Louis Vuitton?
Posted on June 12th, 2009 4 commentsI was recently given 2 bags but im not sure they are real. the LV bag is a small papillon, witht the old cherry design, and red snakeskin style handles. inside, there is the louis vuitton paris made in france logo, with a serial number of m51385 (i think). the serial number is on a different colour leather to the rest of the bag, which is why im doubting its authenticity. i know they stopped using the cherry design a while ago, so it could just be old.
the chanel bag is just the plain quileted design, with the gold chanel logo on the front. there arent any handles with it, but the chanel logo on the inside flap is reversed, which chanel did in many of the old bags. the overall bag looks quite worn/used, so im thinking it may just be vintage. there isnt no tag or sticker inside and no made in france logo either. theres no logo on the zipper ether.
if anyone can help it would be great

Where Can I Find A Louis Vuitton Storage Box For One Of My Purses?

Fake Chanel Bags Sold In “cheap” Store – Illegal/legal?
Posted on June 12th, 2009 6 commentsI was in a “cheap” store earlier, by the bag section and a woman was pondering over a blatantly fake Chanel bag, a bit like this one:http://www.classicollectables.net/_wp_ge…
A sales assistant was trying to persuade the lady to buy it, when she went I said to the would-be purchaser “that bag isn’t real, I wouldn’t waste your money buying a counterfeit product”, the woman thanked me for my help and didn’t buy the bag.
However, the shop assistant overheard and told the manager who then “threw” (not literally) me out of the shop and said I couldn’t return!!
Anyway, is it illegal for them to sell clearly fake Chanel bags, with a fake Chanel logo for £35?
This is in the UK only please.
If it is illegal, what can I do about it?

Where Can I Buy A Really Good Fake Louis Vuitton?
